Our Federal Government client is seeking the services of a communications and marketing specialist to develop a communication and marketing strategy (including tactics and resources) to ensure the value, purpose and services of GovTEAMS are well known across the APS and its partners. GovTEAMS is a Whole-of-Government collaboration service with two Microsoft Office 365 tenancies, GovTEAMS OFFICIAL and GovTEAMS PROTECTED

**Position Overview**

As part of the specialist communications and marketing engagement, the successful specialist will be asked to deliver the following:

GovTEAMS Communication and Marketing Strategy, including:

- Timeline/roadmap for communication and marketing events to support both GovTEAMS' future initiatives and overall strategic goals.
- Communications matrix, including:

- Target groups
- Recommended channels/mediums
- Frequency of delivery
- Types of messaging for each identified target group.
- Templates and worked examples that support the events on both the timeline and matrix, that are also flexible enough to be reused for future initiatives or events.
- Battle cards to provide approaches/options to deal with challenge/resistance I.E. Counter points and/or persuasion tactics to overcome friction or challenges to GovTEAMS value.
- Recommendations/strategies for assessing communications and feedback trends and thresholds so GovTEAMS can be proactive/reactive, including resources to address/optimise opportunities in those scenarios, e.g. if x number of complaints occur - do y.
- GovTEAMS' core purpose and value identification statement and text to use in:

- info-graphics
- overviews
- website messaging
- Dependency/relationship identification to;
- Data analytics - how this can help or support GovTEAMS communication and marketing; and
- Engagement Services.
- Establishment of an easily searchable artefact repository that can house existing and new materials.
- Industry Partners initiative - GovTEAMS is looking to create a licence model for Industry and Academic clients.
- Website content review and update to ensure consistent messaging and targeted marketing.
- CRM/Agency profiling - GovTEAMS is establishing a CRM tool and a branch engagement approach to improve the stakeholder and user experience

**Essential skills and experience**:
The proposed resource should able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

- A proven track record as an experienced marketing / communications all-rounder (varied examples must be submitted as part of the response.
- The ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Exceptional writing skills, and experience communicating with clarity.
- Strong communication and personal management skills including the ability to influence others, and an ability to work with significant autonomy as part of a small team.
