They are driven by fresh ideas and opportunities with the aim to do more and do better - for our people, our communities and the countries that we work in.They are seeking a motivated Finance Administrator to join their Newcastle Inner City Bypass Project Team.The project involves 3.4kms of new four-lane divided road, interchanges at Newcastle Road, Lookout Road and the John Hunter Hospital precinct, plus upgrades to connecting roads, a pedestrian bridge, and an underpass.Key responsibilities include:Preparing weekly payment run batches.Processing site and delivery docketsPurchase ordersSupplier invoicesAssisting with budget allocation and reviewing spend against procurement strategy.Ensuring actuals are accurately recorded in the monthly ledgers.Preparing and maintaining financial reports.Managing office and equipment registers.About You:You are proactive, organised, and thrive in a fast-paced project environment.Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.Contribute to the smooth financial operation of this major infrastructure project.Requirements:A bachelor's degree in business/finance and prior experience in a similar role within a construction or project environment.Experience with financial data entry in online systems (JD Edwards highly regarded).
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (intermediate level).
