About the Role
The Technical Team Leader is a diverse role and incorporates the inspired leadership of an ANZ team of technical support professionals within the Technology Services domain. This role will ensure we meet our contracted deliverables and Service Level Agreements (SLA's) are achieved across technology towers of responsibility, best practice support methodology implemented and continually improved, technical experience leveraged across ANZ while driving high levels of customer satisfaction. The role is responsible for team utilisation, employee engagement and overall team performance. As you will have direct reports, your ability to build rapport with your team, resolve customer challenges and be the face of the team is of critical importance. You will front the technical escalations and outcomes for our customer
What you'll do
As Technical Team Leader, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Providing direction to the team, and promoting personal and professional development
- Resource management of people, assets and projects
- Setting expectations with customers and account teams for delivery of services
- Planning, estimating, prioritisation, delegation and monitoring of activities ensuring escalation occurs when required
- Reporting and financial management
- Resolve, lead and handle technical guidance and escalations for the team, in collaboration with your technical leads
- Ability to stand in for peers and managers if required
What you'll bring
What does success look like in an exciting role like this? As it is a senior role we are after previous team leadership experience, with the ability to lead and mentor people. You will have worked in IT for 7+ years and have working experience with one or more operating systems such as Windows, Linux and Unix. You will also have strong analytical and conceptual abilities, along with the ability to manage towards positive solutions. You will lead your team, develop them and deliver an exceptional service for our customer - both in teams of successful delivery and service levels and in the teams' relationship with the customer. You will work closely with your peers to deliver a collaborative approach to service outcomes. There is some after-hours work required in this role during critical incidents
