As a Technical Team Lead, you'll work on product development that is vital to the day-to-day operations of these systems as well as their future. You will assist in the design/redesign of the software and system architecture. Ideally you will have strong
**hands-on **people management skills (line manager e.g. performance, one on ones, stand-up) and technical skill with Enterprise software.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

- Analyse user needs, design software and work with the Software Engineers and Test Team.
- Software development and maintenance (including unit and integration testing)
- Task prioritisation and participation in release planning;
- Develop and maintain relevant technical standards and documentation;
- Conduct technical research for product development;
- Work with the product development team to design and specify new software requirements;
- Mentor and share knowledge with software engineers; and
- Continuous process improvement of software development and release
practices and procedures.

**Required Skills**:

- C Programming in a Linux Environment
- Ability to work in an Agile environment/strong understanding of SDLC
- Strong people management skills
- Shell scripting would be nice to have.
