Our client is a company with a rich history of innovation and success, and they are looking for a dynamic and experienced State Operations Manager to join their team and continue their tradition of excellence.
**The Role**:
We are seeking a results-oriented and experienced State Operations Manager to oversee our operations **across multiple sites** within the State. This is a critical leadership role that requires an individual with a strong track record of managing complex operations and a passion for building, maintaining and empowering a diverse and large workforce.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead and oversee all operations within the state, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety across multiple sites.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise operational processes and achieve cost-effective results.
- Create and maintain a positive and productive work environment, fostering teamwork and strong leadership within the workforce.
- Implement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Health, Safety and Environment, Sales, and Marketing, to align operations with business goals.
- Provide regular performance evaluations, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for the operations team.
**Skills, Experience and Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Proven experience managing operations across multiple sites,** essential**:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, empower, and develop a large and diverse workforce.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Results-driven and able to meet and exceed operational targets.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and operational best practices.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
