**Company Overview**:
Our client is a successful Australian 3PL that has grown to be one of the highest performing and most reputable providers across ANZ. With a complex national operation and with strong leadership that continues to develop the company's presence across the Tier 1 FMCG landscape, we are seeking an outstanding State Manager to effectively lead a large, multi site team, and drive continuous improvement projects to facilitate long term, strategic national growth across the business.

This role will be based out of Melbourne's South East with limited travel.

**Position Overview**:
Reporting to the ANZ GM, we are seeking a hands-on, dynamic, and growth-minded State Operations Manager to drive operational excellence across a multi-site 3PL operation, catering to a diverse portfolio of FMCG customers. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless coordination and execution of all operational activities, and will play a key role in driving best practices across a complex domestic network.
- Key Responsibilities:

Strategically plan and implement efficient operational processes to meet and exceed client expectations.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and distribution logistics.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align operations with customer requirements and industry best practices.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and enhance overall operational performance.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and excellence within the operations team.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities for the operations team members.

**To be successful**:
Key to your success in this role will be your ability to optimise DC Operations and ensure both current and future volume growth can be serviced from an operational perspective, whilst simultaneously positively influencing cost levers across the business.

You must be able to blend strategic vision with operational expertise, ensuring seamless coordination across diverse logistics functions. Strong leadership, adept problem-solving, and the ability to optimize supply chain processes are crucial. Excellent communication skills are essential for liaising with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders. Adaptable to industry trends and technological advancements, the successful manager fosters a culture of continuous improvement, emphasizing efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction. With a keen eye for detail, you will navigate challenges with resilience, driving the team to meet and exceed performance metrics in the dynamic and demanding landscape of third-party logistics.
