About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to provide administration support to Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Clinicians and Nursing Coordinators within Cancer Care Services (CCS) in Metro North Health (MNH) with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
About you
- Ensure clinical questions are referred to the appropriate clinical area/clinician or supervisor.
- Use various clinical and information database systems, including ieMR, HBCIS, InteleConnect and QPulse, to undertake tasks such as data entry to coordinate and track the status of BMT patients and generate reports in accordance with legislation, MNH and CCS policies and guidelines, and audit requirements.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating a commitment to the MNH Values and the Code of Conduct.
- Provide excellent customer focus in a friendly and helpful manner, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently in a written and oral capacity with all patients, their families, and staff.
