Educational Psychologist/Senior Social Worker

We\'re looking for a committed and compassionate Educational & Developmental Psychologist or Senior Social Worker to join the Wellbeing & Engagement Team at MacKillop Education\'s Specialist School P–12 – a vibrant learning community grounded in Catholic ethos and values. Reporting directly to the Principal, you\'ll be part of a team that believes in the transformative power of education to unlock every student's potential.

This is a Fixed-Term Full-Time opportunity based in Caulfield, VIC within our MacKillop Education Caulfield (MacKillop Specialist School). This position is for Term 4 2025, with potential to extend. The position reports to the Campus Principal.
Key Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families.
Practice knowledge relevant to working with students and families who have experienced complex trauma, and the ability to provide therapeutic assessments and trauma informed interventions.
A well-developed understanding of social/emotional and cognitive disabilities and an ability to assist others to understand their associated implications.
Psychology qualification (Master or Doctorate level) preferred, or a relevant degree in Social Work.
