Purpose of the Role
Clinicians are at the heart of Haven's mission to make workplaces safer, healthier and more resilient. Through our digital platform, you will provide real time, professional support to employees facing challenging workplace situations. Your role is to help individuals manage risk, build coping strategies and connect to the right pathways for escalation or ongoing care when needed.
This is a flexible, contract-based opportunity, ideal for qualified clinicians who want to make a meaningful impact on workplace wellbeing while balancing other professional or personal commitments. You will need your own ABN and professional indemnity insurance. Clinicians are engaged on an oncall basis and activated when incidents are registered on Haven.

Job Holder Requirements
Haven Clinicians will be engaged on a contract basis to provide the following services via a secure computer and internet connection:
Must be fully registered by the Psychology Board of Australia under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law, or
Have provisional registration based upon possession of a degree with a fourth- or fifth-year qualification in psychology and a supervision agreement accepted by the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA), which will enable full registration following one to three years of supervised practice as a psychologist (to provide services as a counsellor) ; or
Be a qualified counsellor holding a Diploma, Bachelor or Master of Counselling.
In relation to supervision of provisionally registered psychologists: supervision is a joint responsibility of Haven, the supervisor, the provisional psychologist and the Allied Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Haven will need evidence of appropriate qualifications of education and your supervisor and will contact AHPRA for confirmation of eligibility.
Key Responsibilities
Haven is a world first psychological safety solution. Haven clinicians should be focused on assisting users work through workplace based psychosocial and psychological safety incidents such as bullying, harassment, sexual misconduct, racism and more. Haven aims to provide contemporaneous advice, support and tools to help workers build resilience, avoid future incidents and escalate unlawful conduct. Haven also provides a unique platform and opportunity to connect with perpetrators leading to clinically informed insights.
General Requirements
To provide a psychological service via a digital device in real time to support employees of subscribed organisations.
To facilitate access, participation and to maximise educational outcomes for subscribed employees, and to utilise psychological expertise in psychosocial and workplace incidents to support and build the capacity of those employees toward resilience and prevention.
Communication and Documentation
Provide advice, direction and support to users in a proactive and positive way.
Ensure a comprehensive clinical note is recorded for every interaction.
Identification and resolution of issues relating to the incident reported.
Escalation of unlawful conduct via the Haven protocols.
Clinical Duties
Clinical risk assessment using Haven risk assessment tools, clinical measurement, clinical interview and observation.
Knowledge, experience and understanding of relevant impairments and disabilities.
Psychological assessment of mental health issues involving clinical measures, clinical interview skills, and observation and information from other sources
Knowledge and understanding of mental health disorders and their relationship to workplace psychosocial incidents and events.
Approach
Knowledge of current evidence on management of traumatic incidents.
Participation in the development and review of Haven policies and protocols for ongoing continuous improvement.
Providing individual support to subscribed employees.
Liaison with external service providers where necessary.
Escalation to external clinical resources and interventions where clinically required.
Workplace Health & Safety
Ensure adherence to all safe working policies/procedures in accordance with instructions.
Ensure that any hazards are identified and reported and documented in a timely manner
Development
Keeping and maintenance of individual records for each user.
Maintaining an awareness of workplace community issues and events which may impact on employees.
Informing the CEO and senior staff regarding current referral issues as they arise and suggest strategies to manage these.
