Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate arboricultural services, ensuring the health and sustainability of the urban forest.
Manage high-quality pruning, tree removals, and vegetation management.
Emphasize safety, operational planning, and achieving Council goals.
Foster teamwork, communicate with key stakeholders, and implement tree care strategies to support canopy cover targets.
Qualifications
Skilled professional in arboriculture and urban forestry with a strong leadership background.
Proven experience in tree care operations and safety compliance.
Operational planning, effective stakeholder communication, and strategies to enhance canopy cover and environmental goals.
Remuneration and benefits
Remuneration:
base salary commencing at $76,426 gross per annum
Adverse working conditions allowance of $1,035 per annum
12% superannuation
Performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary
Annual award increase
