Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Arboriculture Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering Council's Tree Preservation Order, preparing quotation documents, and undertaking administration tasks related to arboriculture works on public land.

The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge in arboriculture, including experience in carrying out inspections and preparing reports. They will also possess knowledge of Australian Standards relating to arboriculture, particularly AS4373.

In addition, the successful candidate will be able to work unsupervised, plan, prioritize, and manage their work activities effectively. They will also have excellent customer relations skills, including internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Horticulture (Arboriculture)
  • Expert knowledge in arboriculture, including experience in carrying out inspections and preparing reports
  • Knowledge of Australian Standards relating to arboriculture, particularly AS4373
  • Ability to work unsupervised and plan, prioritize, and manage work activities effectively
  • Excellent customer relations skills, including internal and external stakeholders
