australia brisbane contract including superTalent International is searching for an experienced Technical Consultant to join our client, a Queensland Government Department based in Newstead, Brisbane on an 4 Month Contract + extensions.

The role:
**Responsibilities**:

- Leading complex solution architecture activities, such as service design, high level reviews of the implementation, data migration planning and implementation, planning for operational support, and identifying and coordinating the resolution of technical problems impacting the Program
- Ensuring the deliverables and outcomes of each project within the Program contribute to the overall solution design, resolving conflicts when they arise and escalating risks, dependencies and constraints to the Project Managers, Program Manager and Program Solution Architect
- Preparing and presenting solution architecture documentation for review by Strategic Technical Architecture Group to validate the Program's approach to achieving the short-term and long-term objectives of the platform
- Knowledge of The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), with preference for certification, will be well regarded
- Breadth of experience across all architecture domains
- Experience with modelling languages, including ArchiMate and UML
- Experience working with Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS)
- Experience with financial systems, in particular sub ledger payment systems
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
