**About the Department**:

**Your Role**: As the Principal Education Officer (EOSD) you will:
- Lead the Behaviour Support Services team and partner with key stakeholders to deliver services that are responsive to school requests for support for students presenting with complex and challenging behaviours due to a range of factors including disability, trauma and complex learning needs.
- Exhibit and foster commitment to developing performance, capability and capacity of best practice evidence-based approaches to student engagement
The Principal Education Officer (EOSD) reports to the Director Student Services.
**Mandatory Requirements**:
- You must be a permanent employee of the department with a substantive teaching or classified officer role employed under Teaching in State Education Award - State 2016, have current full registration as a teacher and should be aware that temporary internal moves for the purposes of the department's payroll processes are referred to as internal secondments.
- Employees' engaged temporarily as Education Officer - Special Duties have a requirement of 361/4 hours per week attendance and arrangements as outlined in clause 5.12 of the Department of Education State School Teachers' Certified Agreement 2022
- When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
