We're looking for a Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team.

Hinds Transport is seeking a Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic for our workshop in Port Kennedy.
· Permanent Full-Time opportunity
· Roster: Monday to Friday, plus alternating Saturday Mornings.
· Penalty Rates, plus Super.
· Working hours: 05:30 - 16:00 (Early Start) / 07:00 – 17:30 (Late Start)
· Complete general servicing tasks on Heavy Vehicles.
The types of vehicles the team services include Volvo and Isuzu trucks and various trailer types and configurations.
· Diagnostics, repair and maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic, diesel systems, auto electrical and hydraulic repairs in accordance with requirements detailed on job cards.
· PPE Supplied.
What you'll bring
· Proven experience in a similar role
· Possess a Trade Qualification as a Heavy vehicle Diesel Mechanic minimum certificate (III)
· Driver's License
· HR/HC License
· Previous industry related experience in transport and/or mining industry (desirable)
· Ability to work with minimal supervision
· Maintain a high standard of work ethic
· Demonstrate attention to detail
· Experience servicing and maintenance of heavy vehicle trucks and trailers.
(desirable)
· Knowledge of working to outlined servicing and maintenance schedules.
· Previous diagnostic investigation experience
· Be able to maintain a high degree of safety and in-line with HSE policies + procedures
· Be able to maintain quality and urgency in your work
