Heavy Diesel Mechanic Role

As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and resolving issues with prime movers, tankers, trailers, and dollies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling and performing regular servicing and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns.
  • Identifying and repairing complex air brake, steering, suspension, and driveline systems.
  • Troubleshooting ABS/EBS braking systems and vehicle lighting for optimal performance.
  • Maintaining and repairing tanker fuel delivery systems to ensure efficient operations.
  • Ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy before they leave the workshop, adhering to strict safety standards.
  • Accurately recording all work completed on fleet assets for future reference.
