Wood is recruiting a Materials Engineer to be a vital contributor to delivering expert advisory services to both our internal teams and external clients.
You will join our Operations business in a pivotal role as we partner with a major player in the Oil & Gas industry on a major brownfields Engineering Service Contract.
Based in Perth CBD, this is a permanent role and is available as a full-time basis.

Expected: You will be: Able to work lawfully in Australia and hold full working rights for this location.

Suitably qualified in Materials Science, Metallurgy, or a related engineering discipline from a recognised institution.
A recent graduate or an engineer early in your career with experience in materials engineering, preferably within asset integrity, corrosion mitigation, materials selection, welding metallurgy, or related fields.
Knowledgeable of industry standards and codes related to materials, corrosion, welding, and coatings is advantageous Desirable: What will set you apart is your commitment to developing your career in Materials Science within the oil & gas industry.
