Job Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled engineer to fill a critical role in Perth, Australia. The successful candidate will have expertise in materials science and corrosion engineering with experience in inspection and testing of pressure equipment and pipework.
Main Job Responsibilities
- Exhibit academic or practical field experience in materials and corrosion / inspection engineering
- Support the lead MCI engineer in day-to-day operations and contract management
- Provide inspection support to relevant discipline engineers regarding marine and topside structures
- Develop, plan and supervise inspection work scopes for pressure equipment and pipework inclusive of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks and pipework components
- Assess inspection findings according to relevant codes and standards, including performing level 1 FFS on pressure equipment and pipework
Necessary Skills and Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent (mechanical, materials or corrosion)
- Technical Authority in Materials & Corrosion and / or Inspection is desired
- Industrial qualifications such as AMPP/NACE CIP1 / CIP2, CP1 / CP2, API 510, API 570, API 577
- Experience as MCI engineer in project development and delivery and handover to asset is desired
