About the RoleThe CDP Operations Manager reports to the Remote Employment Manager and, with guidance, oversees the operations of the Community Development Program and the on-ground teams in multiple remote locations.
The role involves providing strategic support to the community development leadership team.
You will directly contribute to improved outcomes that will enhance the lives of some of Australia's most remote First Nations Peoples.
Lead, manage, and develop a team of Community Development Site Managers across several locations.
Meet service delivery guidelines and reporting requirements to the National Indigenous Australians Agency and GM of Community Services.
Support and manage community-based CDP programs and finances.
Collaborate with participants and community for support strategies and timely responses.
About You
Relevant experience and qualifications in CDP or human services.
Strong communication skills and senior management advisory experience.
Proven ability to manage a budget – experience with federally funded programs is advantageous.
Dedication to maintaining a robust WHS framework.
Ethical integrity in Community Development Service delivery.
Note: This position is based in the Darwin Support Office.
Travel will be required to remote Indigenous Communities with overnight stays.
