A Taxation Officer is needed for large government organisation.

**Your new role**

As a Taxation Officer, you will be responsible for:

- Prepare statutory taxation returns including BAS and FBT
- GST input tax credits
- Taxation receipts and payments
- Reconciles surplus employee salary packages and data required for tax returns
- Liaise internally and externally
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate previous experience in tax accounting, in addition to:

- Strong understanding of FBT and GST
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting and Finance
- Ability to present a well-thought-out case to the manager of Assets and Tax
- CPA or equivalent qualification is well-regarded
- Excellent attention to detail
- Large organisation experience
