Local Government organisation is looking to appoint an Injury Management Advisor to work in the H&S team.

Based in the Southern Suburbs, Logan this role will work as part of a large Health & Safety Team supporting a Local Council and their workers.

**Your new role**

The Injury Management Advisor is offered as a temp contract to support the council with Injury Management. This is a varied role working in a large team. Duties will include:

- Provide Injury Case Management to drive return to work outcomes
- Assist with identifying suitable duties and developing return to work plans in consultation with the employees
- Liaise with medical practitioners regarding workers injuries, treatments and claims
- Partner with managers in the business to provide coaching and training around workers compensation and injury management
- Ensure all workers compensation claims are maintained

**What you'll need to succeed**

You will hold a relevant qualification in Injury Management/WH&S with demonstrated experience providing Injury Management within an organisation. You will be a strong communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels, and you will have a working knowledge of Work cover QLD.
