Injury Management Advisor Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Injury Management Advisor to provide technical coaching and mentoring to team members in injury management and strategy. This role offers the opportunity for an allied health professional to use their existing clinical skills and knowledge, applied to a compensable injury recovery setting.

The successful candidate will work alongside the claims team leader and technical advisor to create a high performing team delivering positive outcomes to injured people. They will be responsible for preparing professional written and verbal advice to claims advisors on reasonable and appropriate treatment and rehabilitation services.

This is a critical role that requires strong analytical skills and the ability to provide consistent injury management expertise to ensure ongoing quality decisions and input into claims strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the claims team leader and technical advisor to create a high performing team delivering positive outcomes to injured people.
  • Prepare professional written and verbal advice to claims advisors on reasonable and appropriate treatment and rehabilitation services.
  • Provide consistent injury management expertise to ensure ongoing quality decisions and provide input into claims strategy.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Allied Health related discipline is mandatory.
  • Minimum 2 years clinical experience and/or occupational rehabilitation experience is desirable.
