**Description**:
We're assisting Logan City Council on an exciting opportunity for an Injury Management Advisor to join their team for the next 6-months.
You'll be working to promote and coordinate stay at work and return to work processes for work and non-work-related illness/injury. Your primary purpose is to establish an effective and efficient return to work strategies. Responsibilities include:

- Negotiate with injured/ill workers, managers, supervisors, medical and allied health providers for the best stay at work or return to work outcome.
- Assist in identifying suitable duties and develop return to work plans in consultation with injured/ill workers, managers, supervisors, medical and allied health providers.
- Provide advice to management and coordinate external services (if required) for modifications required to the work environment for suitable stay at work and return to work outcomes.
- To assist with ergonomic assessments where more complex issues are raised, and to implement effective strategies to assist with the reduction in work related injuries as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

- Tertiary qualifications in Injury Management or Occupational Rehabilitation would be highly regarded.
- Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator training accreditation compliant with Work Health & Safety Qld.

Essential:

- Possession of a current driver's license is essential.
