As an Employability Skills Trainer, you will be based in our Canberra city office and cover the surrounding region. You will be delivering, facilitating and administer engaging training and support services for our jobseekers.
The aim of the program is to help them become more competitive in their local labour market. But that's not it, we lift people up, supporting them in employment, independence and improved wellbeing.
Who are you?
Perhaps you are an experienced career counsellor, career development trainer, or are experienced in Employment Services and looking to develop into a Training position.
You love working in a productive and collaborative environment, and want to bring your drive, passion and most importantly your first-class customer service to a role where you are enabling better lives.
**What you will be doing**:
Manage engaging group training sessions to jobseekers, both online and face to face
Supporting and guiding participants identify their skills, abilities and secure employment
Developing career development plans for our participants
Organising, planning, implementing and facilitating training programs for our participants
Building relationships with local employers and community organisations
Organising Industry Experts and guest speakers to share their knowledge with Participants
Travelling to deliver Training around to offices in the surrounding Region from time to time
Full time position working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

Eligibility to work in Australia
A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
Willing to complete a Criminal History Check
Able to pass a Working with Children Check
Certificate IV Training and Assessment (desirable)
RSA certificate (desirable)
