ABOUT THE TEAM

We are passionate and committed to artistry and are looking for a like-minded person to join our team in the role of Label Coordinator based in Sydney. This role will support and coordination of all aspects of EMI marketing and artist development campaigns, A&R and label services as directed. You would be joining a forward-thinking team that knows the rate of change in the industry and gets ahead of it. We want someone that can come in and help deliver amazing campaigns for an incredible roster. We need a team player, great communicator, and positive thinker.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Supporting Artist Development with implementing marketing plans
- Originating marketing, sales and media tools
- Supporting A&R team with administration as directed
- Developing a strong rapport with the team's business contacts including internal contacts, local artists and their management, associated labels and ROs
- Act as an integral member of the EMI team with the ability to provide ideas and comprehensive administrative support to consistently improve and develop own skills as well as the Department's results
- Assist on social plans and update Artists and EMI social media channels as directed
- Managing admin and delivery of assets to production team in a timely manner
- Keep abreast of relevant new technological developments within the music industry, content creation and pop culture.
- Skills in production of content in all forms including short-form/social.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
- A passion for music and artist development with a desire to grow your career with us (We are known for promoting from within)
- Experience in using industry standard video, photo and audio editing software such as Final Cut, Premiere and Photoshop.
- Experience with basic level filming, editing and audio recording of live video content.
- Knowledge of digital media landscape, including social media, mobile, streaming services etc.
- Basic HTML editing capability.
- Ability to work within the marketing department with an understanding of marketing campaign objectives.
- Understanding and interest in music business and trends - streaming platforms, social media and digital landscape
- Possesses an aptitude for working with basic forms of content creation, social media and quickly adapts to new platforms and digital developments.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Strong ability to coordinate and prioritise multiple responsibilities in a fast paced environment.
- Developed communication and reporting skills.
- Analysis and understanding of audience based research to assist with the development of relevant content for the target audience.
