Overview
Join Lely Australia, a global leader in dairy automation, as aTechnical Support Specialistand help shape the future of sustainable farming across Oceania.
Responsibilities
Provide 2nd-line technical support via our online helpdesk and on-site when required.
Conduct online and in-person troubleshooting for robotic systems.
Support and deliver training to farmers, dealers, and internal staff.
Analyse system data to provide insights and solutions.
Liaise with international colleagues to resolve complex issues.
Lead hardware and software specification discussions with dealers.
Communicate technical updates and changes to the dealer network.
Assist with the sales process through technical consultation.
Support scheduled user management software updates.
Maintain strong relationships with dealers and customers.
Participate in a rotating on-call support roster.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who is technically proficient, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
You're just as comfortable in the paddock as you are analysing data or training a room full of people.
Strong communication skills – written and verbal
A natural team player with a proactive, self-managed work ethic
Excellent problem-solving and forward planning abilities
Comfortable leading group training sessions
Strong IT knowledge (SQL and Microsoft suite proficiency)
Ability to travel locally, interstate, and internationally – non-negotiable
Prior experience or exposure to dairy/agriculture environments (highly regarded)
