
Technical Business Development Specialist

This role involves cultivating awareness and stimulating demand for Axis products and solutions within the consultant and specifier community in Oceania.
As a trusted advisor to professional consultants, architects, and engineers, you will create new business opportunities and deliver training to ensure they get the full value of Axis solutions.
- You will drive and execute the overall strategy of the Axis A&E program in Oceania, including building the A&E network.
- Cultivate and manage business relationships aligned with the A&E Program and Oceania strategy.
- Support consultants by advising on specifications around Axis network video and audio products, including cyber security and sustainability.
- Proactively educate the consultant community on key industry challenges and position Axis as a thought leader and trusted advisor.
- Educate specifiers on smart use of Axis design tools, ensuring system design accuracy and improving operational efficiencies.
- Align the A&E program with regional sales activities, building a project pipeline through Axis Products' specification into new projects.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience as a trusted advisor.
- Comprehensive understanding of physical electronic security industry facets.
- Experience working with indirect sales, preferably in technical sales from IT or Security industry.
- Able to function efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
This role is based in Australia, specifically in either Sydney or Melbourne, and requires domestic and international travel.
