About the teamThe observability team within the engineering department focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to provide deep visibility into system performance and health.
Their core responsibility is to proactively detect, diagnose, and resolve issues, ensuring system reliability and enabling swift incident response to minimise business impact.
Role Summary As an Observability Engineer, you will support the delivery of observability solutions for enterprise clients, helping them improve system reliability, performance, and transparency.
You will assist in implementing solutions, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to best practices across operations.
This role offers an opportunity to develop technical skills and gain experience in observability platforms.
Assist in the implementation of observability platforms (e.g., Dynatrace, Splunk, New Relic, Datadog) across client environments.
Support delivery across client engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting.
Contribute to implementing observability engagements aligned to client SRE, DevOps, and Cloud objectives.
Provide support in monitoring, alerting, logging, and distributed tracing.
Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and platform teams to embed observability across SDLC.
Participate in client presentations.

1–3 years of experience in IT consulting, infrastructure operations, or observability roles.
Familiarity with observability platforms such as Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk, or New Relic.
Basic technical knowledge in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), DevOps, and automation tools.
Understanding of SLOs, SLIs, dashboards, alerting workflows, and synthetic monitoring.
Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
Relevant certifications in observability, cloud, or ITIL are a plus.
