Reporting into the Head of Data and joining a small Team, this role will assist with general Data Management and governance capability in setting up and uplifting frameworks and will establish trust in data by establishing and operationalizing a cohesive master data management strategy for the organisation.

They are looking to eliminate business silos, establish standards and processes for data governance and implement measures to manage the quality of their data.

This is a permanent role working in a highly collaborative environment with a highly knowledgeable data SME who. Flexible working arrangements with offices located close to public transportation and hybrid WFH model of 3 days in the office.

Working in a greenfield environment, this role is key to assisting with the growth of their Data domain working with the latest cutting-edge technologies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Working with the vendors to define a clear Data Governance framework across the organisation at Enterprise level working with all business areas.
- Work across both business and functional teams to ensure that roles are implemented across data governance and met.
- Training business users to adhere to new frameworks.
- Design the MDM (Master Data Management) processes and guidelines along with the policies and strategies.
- Ensure that IT systems are kept up to date to process Master data business requirements whilst multiple concurrent projects are in flight.
- Participation and facilitation of workshops in order to present information on data projects.

**Skills required**:

- **A minimum of 5 years' experience working across MDD and data governance.**:

- **Strong understanding of how data is processed through an organisation and good experience in Change Management.**:

- **Strong understanding of data architecture and experience using Excel, SQL and PowerBI tools.**:

- Experience with data processing and data flow mapping.
- Experience in implementing data governance frameworks in parallel to live projects using data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with key IT and business stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong influencing skills and ability to take stakeholders on "transformation journey".
- Advanced reporting and analysis skills.
- Confident in problem-solving and working both in a team environment and autonomously when required.
- Experience working in a data greenfield environment would also be highly beneficial.
- Experience working in retail, banking or healthcare would be advantageous.
