At Gathering Events, we're seeking someone who's just as comfortable driving a van and setting up activations as they are managing a team to deliver exceptional results.We are on the lookout for a front of house Event & Warehouse Manager eager to manage the delivery and execution of our activations and events, from our warehouse to the event location.Who We Are At Gathering Events, we don't just create events; we craft unforgettable experiences.
From coffee carts to gelato bars and popcorn machines, we specialise in pop-up catering and brand activations across Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria.
With a client list that includes brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Gucci, and Spotify, our mission is to make every event seamless, exciting, and memorable.About the Role - The Day to Day Bump-in & Out Events : Be a part of the onsite team, handling the logistics of bumping in and bumping outEvent Setup & Pack Down : Oversee and participate in the physical setup and pack-down of events, ensuring everything is executed flawlesslyDriving : Deliver and set up at our eventsWarehouse Organisation : Station and prepare events in our warehouseOn Site Management : Ensure our events and carts are picture-perfect and our operations run seamlesslyOperations : Maintain a symphony of logistics, ensuring our carts and teams hit the right note at every venueClient Relationships : Foster harmonious relationships with our clients, understanding their needs, and crafting experiences that resonateTeam Work : Collaborate with a close-knit team, where your passion for the catering industry will help orchestrate successWhat You Can Expect - Work Schedule Flexibility with workdays and weekends based on event schedulesEarly starts (think prep ping coffee carts for those morning events)Physical, hands-on tasks, including lifting, carrying, and managing logisticsOngoing training to develop your skills and grow within the roleWorking alongside a passionate and talented team of event professionalsWhat We Are Looking For Passion : A love for events and bringing events to lifeDriver's License : Must have a valid Australian Open Driver's LicensePhysical stamina and willingness to tackle tasks like lifting and moving equipmentCommunication Skills : Strong and effective communication abilitiesReliability : Punctual and dependableInitiative : Ability to work independently and show initiativeFlexibility : Available to work on varied days and weekendsPhysical Stamina : Able to handle early starts and physically demanding tasksTeam Player : An ability to lead, support, and inspire those around youCreativity : You\'re ready to think outside the box (and cart) to tackle any challenges head-onPerks and Benefits A competitive salary package plus SuperannuationA fun and engaging work environment – no two days are the sameOpportunities for growth – as we expand, so could your career horizonsThe chance to work with high-profile brands and exciting clientsReady to Roll?
