Coles Express has recently been acquired by Viva Energy Retail, Australia's largest single branded convenience and retail network.

Viva Energy Retail is a mobility and convenience division of Viva Energy Australia with a high-quality national network of fuel and convenience stores located in metro, regional and on main transport routes, and provides an advantaged position to serve the on-road and local suburban convenience markets.

**About the role**:
As a Promotions Coordinator you will support the Trade & Promotions Manager to facilitate the build and execution of the annual Trade Plan and the monthly Promotions Plan. In this role you will work cross-functionally across Convenience and Marketing teams, guiding and managing stakeholders to enable effective execution.

You'll also:

- Drive the end-to-end promotional process, ensuring compliance across all stakeholders and quality of outcomes
- Understand financial, customer and competitor trends alongside reviewing historical promotional performance to help iterate Category Manager (CM) promotional plans
- Complete analysis across historical trade plan performance to help with future planning
- Analyse promotional performance relative to expectations, across financials (working with Finance team), customer and market share
- Create monthly promotional plan templates twice a year for CMs to update

**About you and your skills**:
You have previous experience in query resolution and knowledge of merchandise processes, procedures, and systems.

You'll also have:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to work independently or in a team
- Basic project management skills with a results oriented and hands on approach
- The ability to negotiate and influence at all levels
- Experience in retail or FMCG preferred
- Advanced PC skills, especially Microsoft Desktop productivity tools (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
