**About the role**:**

As our HSE Lead, you'll work closely with the Head of HSE to deliver smart, customer-focused solutions that genuinely make a difference. This role is all about shaping a strong, positive safety culture—one that's proactive, not reactive.

You'll lead the coordination of diverse HSE activities across the business, ensuring our systems remain compliant, effective, and certified. It's a hands-on, high-impact role where your ideas and expertise will help elevate how we approach health, safety, and the environment every day.

Other responsibilities include:

- Partner with managers to develop and implement WHS strategies aligned with business goals.
- Oversee key WHS areas including incident investigation, corrective actions, Workers' Compensation, and site inspections.
- Develop and update WHS policies, procedures, and programs to meet organisational and legislative requirements.
- Provide expert advice and interpretation of WHS policies and practices to leaders across the business.
- Drive strategic WHS improvements through research, solution development, and system enhancements.
- Lead, coach, and influence staff at all levels to embed a strong WHS culture and model safe behaviours.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, and support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with clients to align safety goals and contribute to information and security management tasks.

**About you**:
We're looking for a confident and trusted **HSE Lead**—someone people naturally turn to for support, advice, and hands-on expertise.

In this role, you'll work across a unique mix of environments, from live data centres and corporate operations to active construction sites in the ACT. While a background in construction is a bonus, we're especially keen to meet someone with strong experience in **operational HSE, procurement, and compliance**.

You're someone who's pragmatic, solutions-focused, and brings a steady hand to HSE systems and processes. You'll provide clarity and confidence to your peers, contribute to an already strong foundation, and help guide best practice across the team.

Your strength lies in building genuine relationships—mentoring others, supporting teams, and helping people understand and follow HSE processes with care and confidence.
- Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
- Experience using HSE management software and tools for data collection and analysis.

**Essential**:
Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.
