**About the role**:
Based in our Melbourne office, the National Key Account Manager is primarily responsible for the management and growth of national and international key accounts of Jungheinrich. Primarily this encompasses current key accounts and seeking out new business opportunities, as well as completing quotations and tenders to the requirements of the customer base. This includes high performance in the account management process delivered, customer retention rate and the conversion rate of successful sales results.

**Core Tasks:

- **
- Development of strategies to ensure growth and long-term business relationships for Key Accounts incl. planning
- Lead generation, calculation, negotiation, development and implementation of national key account contracts and agreements.
- Entire turnover and margin responsibility over all business sectors for defined Key Accounts.
- Maintain and effectively use the CRM as required by the role and provide reports in a timely manner.
- Coaching, with the aim to further develop key account managers.
- Leading the key account team focused on achieving primary and secondary objectives, by means of motivating, controlling, and supporting tasks and supervising account projects in their respective states.
- Setting a good example as well as giving instructions when looking for creative solutions, pricing and conditions that lead to the successful realisation of our market position.
- The annual discussion of the primary and secondary objectives with the key account managers, prepared in collaboration with the Managing Director and Regional VA Director APAC.
- Checking and discussing the objectives (including market share, market awareness and the use of CRM/KPI reports) with the account managers at least once a month versus the results.
- Conducting target interviews with the account managers, at least once a year.
- Establish and maintain a good internal network, including after sales and office staff
