Our Pact Packaging division is pioneering a whole of product life cycle approach to sustainable packaging. Partnering with global brands to local dairy producers, we integrate supply chain efficiencies and sustainable practices into everything we design and manufacture.
**About this opportunity**
This is a newly created role in our Supply Chain team. The Demand Planning Manager provides leadership to manage the demand planning function across the Pact Packaging Australia (PPA) business. This role leads a team of 3 direct reports including Demand Planners and Analysts.
**Your key responsibilities will be to**:
- Facilitate the demand planning function and S&OP Demand Review process
- Drive collaboration and partnership with the Sales, Finance and Supply teams across PPA to deliver the forecasting process across the business.
- Lead and drive best practice Demand Management disciplines, principals, and behaviours
- Facilitate and drive the analysis of network supply performance and provide input to improvement initiatives to optimise inventory, reduce obsolescence across the network, optimise customer service and maximise production efficiency
- Develop strategies to improve forecast accuracy
**Your skills and experience**
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in a supply chain (Planning) leadership role of increasing responsibility.
- Strong matrix, global organisation management demonstrating relationship management skills with excellent written & verbal communication and ability to influence cross-functionally
- Strong understanding of SCM best practices
- Experience in using and improving systems (SAP ERP and Oracle preferred)
- Knowledge of processes in sales, marketing operations, finance and manufacturing
- Demonstrated success in driving change management, and continuous improvement
- Strong discipline in implementing and sustaining process and systems to support set KPI's
**Qualifications**:
- Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline
