**About The Role & Responsibilities**
The Credit Officer will take full ownership of varying debtors ledgers, working in a close knit finance team alongside the Credit Manager. Your daily tasks will include but not be limited to the following duties in a full function position;
- Following up on outstanding accounts
- Reconciling customer accounts
- Allocating and receipting payments
- Billing and invoicing customers
- Debtor reporting
- Calculating and processing credit notes and rebates
- Proactive and solutions focused approach to working with various stakeholders to resolve queries
- Other ad hoc tasks as required assigned by your Manager
- Providing support to the Accounts Payable department where required
**Skills and Experience**
- Prior experience working as a Credit Officer
- Capability to work autonomously as well as in a close knit team environment
- High level time management skills & the ability to meet deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to build relationships and liaise with a range of stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
- Intermediate excel skills
