Australia's most recommended bank is looking for a Residential Credit Assessor within our growing Customer Operations Department.

You'll be in your element in this role if your ideal day includes providing outstanding customer service to ING Customers and Brokers by assessing loans on a first time correct basis.

This role is a permanent position based in Sydney.

What you'll do
- Specialise in credit/risk analysis, customer segmentation, conveyancing, and banking processes.
- Uphold ING policies and procedures (including ING's underwriting guidelines, compliance, and risk) to avoid unacceptable operational risk.

What we're looking for
- Previously held a Delegated Lending Authority (DLA) of at least $1m in a Residential Loan Approval setting.or Commercial setting or $60k within a Consumer/Retail finance setting (essential criteria).
- Excellent coordination collaboration and communication skills to confidently liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Sound knowledge of Australian lending practices including policy, valuations, mortgage insurance, procedures, and Australian banking regulatory requirements.
- Strong mathematical and statistical analysis aptitude.
- Recent localised experience in the finance industry in residential mortgages assessment.
