The People Team play an important role in creating an environment that enables CSIRO people to do the best science of their lives. Our People Transformation is a new program of work underway that is designed to reimagine the way that the People Team delivers support to people and leaders at CSIRO in order to provide outstanding people experiences that are more integrated, simplified and customer centric.
This is a NEW role for an experienced and passionate professional to join the CSIRO People team
CSIRO Life Portfolio sits within the People Sector and is responsible for four key pillars, Organisational Culture, Leadership, Organisational Performance Enablement, and Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging. As the Executive Manager Implementation (aka Organisational Development Manager), you will be responsible for the execution of projects within the Life Portfolio, the development of capability of team members and the individual execution of programs and projects which are derived from the four product areas in the Life Portfolio.
**Your duties will include**:
- Co-designing practical plans and a road map for the implementation of programs of work and strategy across the organisation, ensuring high quality delivery in partnership with the Executive Manager Product Owner and Senior Implementation Leads.
- Establishing governance frameworks for the implementation of programs and initiatives including roles and responsibilities matrices, service offerings, business processes, rules of engagement, and service-level metrics.
- Providing leadership in the execution of people projects and initiatives to ensure they are interconnected and drive advocacy and adoption through effective implementation, modelling of desired standards and taking personal responsibility for outputs.
- Managing all aspects of the program lifecycle ensuring that issues and risks are being managed within the Life portfolio.
- Being accountable for continuous development and management of skills and capability to ensure excellent service delivery across the organisation.
- Liaising with senior stakeholders to determine their needs, tailoring solutions to potentially conflicting requirements, taking personal responsibility for client satisfaction, and correcting problems promptly and in a constructive manner.

**Salary**:AU$ 141,949 - AU$ 157,055 plus up to 15.4% superannuation

**To be considered you will need**:
- A relevant Bachelor's degree or postgraduate qualification in Human Resource Management, Organisational Development, Organisational Psychology or other relevant discipline.
- At least 10 years relevant demonstrated experience leading the delivery of end-to-end people initiatives and services in large or complex organisations and in designing, delivering and evaluating the effectiveness of the initiatives.
- Experience working in contemporary People functions and using agile working methods.
- Experience providing leadership in the development, execution, and evaluation of integrated programs of work and strategy, including planning, seeking, allocating, and monitoring resources to achieve outcomes in constantly changing environments encountering frequent ambiguity.
- A history of leading and establishing effective teams, including a record of leadership which encourages new ideas, builds trust, provides support for the development of emerging skills, works collaboratively and shares and utilises team resources to deliver goals.
