The Workforce Development and Integrity Division plays a critical role in building our capable, inclusive, and high-performing workforce and by extension, supporting the delivery of safe, trusted services for the South Australian community. The division provides internal strategic and operational workforce services, whilst also contributing to the boarder public safety and integrity through the provision of screening services.

Role Details

The Manager, Organisational Development is a role within People and Performance and is accountable to the Director, Organisational Development and Learning for:

  • overseeing the provision of responsive, innovative, and contemporary organisational development strategies, programs and initiatives to strengthen the capability, culture, performance and engagement of Department of Human Services (DHS) staff and leaders
  • providing strategic leadership and advice to executives, managers and staff to enable people to perform effectively in their role, and respond to organisational needs now and in the future
  • executing a high level of discipline knowledge to identify issues, formulate solutions and propose initiatives, to support the delivery of effective organisational development strategies to support building a respectful, inclusive and high performing culture
  • providing leadership and management to the Organisational Development team, including the development of relevant skills and capabilities
  • representing DHS on public sector government committees and leading specialist advice to Human Resource Business Partners and their divisional portfolios.

Salary Range: $121,107 - $125,679 (ASO8)
