The team is led by two experienced and highly regarded Joint Heads of Class Actions and supported by dedicated Practice Leaders, Special Counsels, Senior Associates, and other legal professionals.The OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor with pre- or post-admission experience in class actions, especially shareholder class actions.Whether you come from defendant or plaintiff practice, this role offers a chance to realize your professional potential by contributing to groundbreaking class action cases.
Based in Melbourne CBD, you'll enjoy a balance of autonomy and guidance within a growing team of senior legal practitioners.As a true champion of our clients, you will:Participate in discovery reviewDraft memoranda, correspondence, and court documentsUndertake researchAssist in class action investigationsAssist in preparing expert evidenceBuild strong relationships with clients, peers, and stakeholders through exceptional communication and expectation managementWhat you'll bringTo thrive in this role, you will:Hold a current practising certificateHave pre- or post-admission experience in class actions or large-scale litigationPossess an innate ability to question, challenge the status quo, and stay aheadBe a great communicator, both verbally and in writingBe committed to connecting with others and working collaboratively to deliver exceptional resultsBring passion, motivation, and enthusiasm to contribute to our cultureShine Lawyers: A place for you.
