The Team
We are proud to have a strong Class Actions presence nationally, assisting clients in some of the nation's most prominent Class Actions, including the Stolen Wages, Stolen Generations, Ruby Princess, and Worley Ltd shareholder class actions.
The team is led by two experienced and highly regarded Joint Heads of Class Actions and supported by dedicated Practice Leaders, Special Counsels, Senior Associates, and other legal professionals.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor with pre- or post-admission experience in class actions, especially shareholder class actions.
Whether you come from defendant or plaintiff practice, this role offers a chance to realize your professional potential by contributing to groundbreaking class action cases.
Based in Melbourne CBD, you'll enjoy a balance of autonomy and guidance within a growing team of senior legal practitioners.
As a true champion of our clients, you will:
Participate in discovery review
Draft memoranda, correspondence, and court documents
Undertake research
Assist in class action investigations
Assist in preparing expert evidence
Build strong relationships with clients, peers, and stakeholders through exceptional communication and expectation management
What you'll bring
To thrive in this role, you will:
Hold a current practising certificate
Have pre- or post-admission experience in class actions or large-scale litigation
Possess an innate ability to question, challenge the status quo, and stay ahead
Be a great communicator, both verbally and in writing
Be committed to connecting with others and working collaboratively to deliver exceptional results
