
Applications Specialist Abap

**The Role**
You will be responsible for the design, development, testing, implementation and documentation of Development objects for the SAP environment. Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining critical relationships with the IT Business Process and IT ERP Systems team.
- Provide input into Continuous Improvement Programs.
- Recommend improvements and development of systems and processes across the business.
- Full lifecycle management of SAP Business Application - ABAP based solutions.
- Implementation of SAP ABAP solutions, including providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products SHF customers.
- Facilitate change implementation and support of SHF Project Systems to enhance the business processes.
- Development of business process descriptions and functional requirements.
- Troubleshoot production issues as required.
- Liaise with other SAP module consultants for integration requirements.
- Generate documentation and training content for new or changed solutions.
- Provide guidance to create test plans & techniques to test SAP functionality for the required business processes.
- Conduct unit tests and project specific testing based on customer defined scenarios.
- Perform other tasks as directed by the ERP Systems Manager
**Skills & Experience**
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- 5-years' experience SAP ABAP and SAP development tools.
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Science or equivalent.
- ITIL Certification - Foundation level or above is highly regarded.
- Experience in developing procedures and processes to ensure system integrity is essential.
- Experience with SAP integration technologies - xMii and PI is desirable.
- Experience with WebDynpro for ABAP and SAP workflow technologies is desirable.
- Experience with Adobe Forms development is desirable.
