Clarity Partners is partnering with a leading independent power producer that specialises in delivering reliable, sustainable, and cost-effective energy solutions to remote and industrial operations across Australia.
Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join the Projects team in Perth. In this role, you'll play a key part in the design, installation, and maintenance of power stations and supporting facilities, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-performing energy solutions. You'll provide technical expertise, ensure compliance with engineering standards, and contribute to long-term improvement opportunities across new and existing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver mechanical engineering design and documentation, ensuring compliance with Australian standards.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to achieve successful project outcomes.
Provide technical input for the design and development of new power stations and associated facilities.
Support clients with the installation of generators and equipment on remote sites.
Monitor and improve site processes, focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Select, procure, and oversee the installation of mechanical equipment.
Provide operational advice for long-term maintenance and performance optimisation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (suitable for Engineers Australia membership).
Knowledge of fuel gas systems, compressed air, pumping and filtration, and engine systems.
3+ years' experience in mechanical engineering within a commercial environment.
Proficiency in CAD design (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MicroStation).
Strong understanding of HSE systems and safety standards.
Advanced MS Office skills.
Ability to work on remote site projects when required.
National Police Certificate and Medical Clearance.
Chartered status with Engineers Australia.
Experience with the Pronto ERP system.
White card certification.
