HMPG (H.M. Precision Grinding Service) specialize in precision grinding to sub-micron tolerances, providing high precision components to a wide range of industries and companies for over 40 years, as well as being a leading repairer of quality machine tool spindles and custom manufacture for the past 20 years. Our enduring success has been built on providing quality products with uncompromising workmanship and exceptional service.

Due to growth, we are looking for an experienced, motivated, and passionate precision grinder who is seeking a rewarding, stable and long-term career to join our dynamic and closely-knit team.

Grinding Experience Required:

- Cylindrical grinding, including ID, OD and taper, using steady and between centre grinding
- Surface grinding including radius and angle grinding, slot grinding and profile grinding

Qualifications & Other Experience:

- Fitter and turner
- Ability to read drawings
- CNC experience (G-code) beneficial not essential
- Forklift Licence beneficial not essential

**Profile**:

- Willingness and aptitude to learn and become first class grinder
- Confidence and capability in working with microns in tolerances
- Self-starter and team player
- Attentive to details

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cheltenham, VIC 3192: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:
