Job Title: Metal Finishing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Metal Finishing Specialist to join our team in Melbourne, Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To polish, grind and sand metal objects such as bullbars, bumpers and other equipment to ensure high-quality finishes.
  • Measure and mark objects or parts to meet grinding and polishing standards.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools to grind, sand, clean or polish objects or parts to correct defects or prepare surfaces for further finishing.
  • Complete quality control checklists to ensure all bars leave the polishing area at the required standard.
  • Brown polish or green polish bars to the desired finish.
  • Identify defects such as knotholes, cracks and splits requiring repair.
  • Select and operate grinders and metal finishers.
  • Maintain a safe working environment while working independently.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in metal polishing is preferred.
