Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Grinding Specialist to join our team in Melbourne.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for operating grinding equipment and surfaces to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain all grinding tools and equipment, including the workshop.
  2. Inspect finished surfaces for smoothness and defects.
  3. Perform smaller miscellaneous grinding tasks as required.
  4. Sandblast 2nd hand agitators, painted and unpainted parts, truck chassis, agitator parts, and barrels.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in grinding and sandblasting.
  • Forklift license (desirable but not necessary).
  • Ability to commute or relocate to Braeside VIC.

Working Conditions:

  • 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday.

Experience and Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
