Process Optimization Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Process Optimization Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing innovative process solutions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.

  • Develop and optimize grinding applications processes to ensure efficient product delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements.
  • Utilize technical expertise to provide expert support to customers and colleagues.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and safety within the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Design and Optimization: Develop and optimize grinding applications processes to ensure efficient product delivery.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize technical expertise to provide expert support to customers and colleagues.
  • Culture of Improvement: Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and safety within the engineering team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong Background in Process Design: A strong background in process design and optimization, including knowledge of engineering physics and material technology.
  • Experience with Machine Kinematics: Experience with machine kinematics, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: Proficiency in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and part programming.
  • GD&T and Drafting: Familiarity with GD&T and drafting to ASME Y14.5-2009 standards.
  • Critical Thinking: Demonstrated critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze data for informed decision-making.
  • Excellent Communication: Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
