**About Your Next Opportunity**:
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology has an exciting opportunity for a** Full-Time Laboratory Scientist/Technician** position within the **Mycology Section of the Microbiology Department** at the **Bowen Hills** laboratory.

This is a full-time position, and the successful applicant will be expected to work shifts between 6:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday.

When appropriately trained the successful applicant may also be expected to participate in a rostered weekend work within the mycology department.
- Uphold quality standards within the laboratory by adhering to departmental quality system procedures;
- Comply with the occupational health and safety policy and programs to ensure personal health and safety and the health of safety of others in the workplace;
- Satisfy the requirements of customers, both internal and external, through the provision of reliable and efficient service levels; and
- Comply with the company's "Code of Conduct" & "Code of Ethics".

**About You**:

- Appropriate qualifications in medical laboratory science (or equivalent).
- Sound theoretical knowledge of current mycology testing practices.
- Laboratory experience in a clinical mycology laboratory including microscopy and fungal culture reading
- Demonstrated interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills and the ability to work as an effective member of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and work methodically and efficiently whilst adhering to occupational health and safety policies.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Provide excellence in customer service.
