As the Head of Medical Oncology, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our medical oncology division's strategic direction and driving our mission of bringing life-changing treatments to patients. You will be responsible for leading a team of talented professionals, overseeing all aspects of oncology strategic medical affairs and field medical. Reporting directly to the Medical Director, ANZ you will provide strategic guidance and ensure successful execution of our oncology portfolio.

Responsibilities include
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of oncology professionals, including scientific advisors and MSLs
- Develop and execute the strategic plan for the oncology division, aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives
- Drive the development and implementation of the oncology medical plans, ensuring compliance with internal SOPs and MA Code of Conduct
- Foster strong collaborations with key stakeholders, health care professionals, scientific and academic organisations and advocacy groups
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in oncology research and treatment and rapidly evolving landscape
- Manage the oncology medical portfolio's budget and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and ethical standards
- Provide expert guidance to internal teams on oncology related-matters, including medical affairs, market access, marketing and sales

**Qualifications**:

- A medical or scientific degree, preferably with a specialization in oncology. An advanced degree (MD, PhD or equivalent) is highly desirable
- Extensive experience in oncology medical affairs (at least 7 years+)
- Proven people management (minimum 2 years) and leadership experience, with a track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving successful outcomes
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and clinical trial protocols in the oncology field
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders
- Strategic mindset
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines
