The roleReporting to the Principal Client Officer, the role of Client Officer provides specialist insurance advisory and client services to Hospital and Health Services and the Department of Health on a range of insurance initiatives.
The position will proactively network and work collaboratively with other areas within Queensland Health to identify existing and emerging issues that impact insurance policy coverage and claims processes, assist with end to end claims management of insurance claims and assist in the development and delivery of education and training to key stakeholders on insurance, claims management and risk frameworks.
You will have an analytical background with proven experience using this expertise to research, identify and analyse trends, prepare reports and develop and implement improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will have a proven track record in building and maintaining effective professional and consultative relationships through the provision of sensitive, confidential and complex services, this will include the ability to effectively assist in the delivery of training and education to stakeholders who have varying levels of expertise.
