**Job Description**:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Work Health & Safety Officer to join our team based in Corio.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a comprehensive safety program to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards. You will work closely with all departments to identify and manage workplace hazards, conduct regular safety audits and investigations, and develop and deliver training programs to promote safe work practices.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive safety program
- Identify and assess workplace hazards and develop strategies to minimize risk
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, and investigate incidents and accidents
- Develop and deliver training programs to promote safe work practices
- Provide advice and support to all departments on safety-related matters
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the safety program, and make recommendations for improvements

**Qualifications**:
**Education and Experience**:

- Minimum Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in high risk manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead, motivate and engage a team
- High level of attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
