About the role & CMV
This role will provide professional WHS advice, support, coaching and guidance to our Victorian businesses. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to make this your own Regular travel is required to metropolitan and regional dealerships across Victoria. Dependent on residential location, this role offers the flexibility to be based in either the eastern or western suburbs.

In conjunction with the WHS Manager, you and the WHS Advisor located in SA will assist the development and execution of the Group's Health and Safety strategy. This role will be predominantly supporting truck workshop environments.

Key requirements of the role
- Provide professional and timely health, safety and wellbeing advice as required
- Act as a committee member and technical advisor on the Board WHS Committee
- Engage and consult with leaders and managers to drive improvements in health and safety and ensuring all legislative requirements are met.
- Keep the group abreast of the relevant WHS legislative changes
- Identify and ensure adequate training in WHS related matters
- Provide WHS training as required
- Assist with preparation of monthly health and safety reports
- Assist with accident/incident investigations as required, ensuring all outcomes are followed through
- Address all aspects of risk management including risk and hazard identification; analysis; evaluation and treatment to ensure management and staff are provided with the knowledge to address and mitigate external and internal risk exposure.
- Undertake health and safety research projects, reports, presentations and serious incident investigations as required
- Conduct internal health and safety audits and participate in external audits as required
What we are looking for
- Minimum of Cert IV in WHS/OHS
- 2 - 3 + years' work experience in a similar health and safety role
- Technical or previous exposure to workshop environments would be advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Sound computer knowledge
- Current driver's license
